How not to use your Testo 550:
A few months ago, a technician sent this 550 unit back to Testo. The technician using it didn't notice a loose connection which eventually lead to a leak around the vacuum pump. There were too many instruments close together and eventually caught on fire. Luckily, the fire was contained and no one was harmed...
REMEMBER: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS. MAKE SURE THEY ARE SECURE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS. KEEP DISTANCE BETWEEN INSTRUMENTS.
*This particular unit still works... If that's not durability I don't know what is!
