Why You Should be Bringing a Thermal Imager on the Roof with You.

Talk about ROI! If you are among the few who use an IR Imager for roof inspections, I am preaching to the choir. The savings in time and the money earned is unequaled.

Locating the source a problem is often more time consuming than the work to repair it. That is where a thermal imager comes in. With a thermal imager you can look for loose roof material, cracks, peeling and water intrusion, with the goal of determining a future or current failure location.

Between time saved and aggravation avoided, chances are the thermal imager will pay for itself in a very short time. To find out more about Testo thermal imagers, visit us here.

*Please note that roof inspections should always be performed by a trained professional.

Tech Tip - Switching from Analog to Digital

So you decided to go digital! That’s great, because now your measurements will be more accurate and you can complete them faster. Did we mentioned that you will be able to get more work done in one day with a digital meter vs. an analog meter, which means more income for you!

Now, how do you protect your digital meter or measuring instrument investment? One simple, but frequently overlooked, way is to check your grounds. Before putting the instrument to metal, check that all grounds are there and clean. The outlet/incoming power should be given extra attention. Improper grounding is dangerous to you and your new equipment. Be careful out there!

If you haven’t switched from analog to digital, check out some of Testo’s digital measuring instruments by visiting testoUSA.com today.
